East Midlands, UK
Took a trip to East Midlands in England. Had an amazing trip as always, always great to travel some more.
We spent the week in Lincoln, England at the fabulous Doubletree. Had dinner at the Electric Bar, where they brought out a special birthday dessert with the surprise Darth Vader candle I brought for him. It was very subdued and British, the complete opposite of my usual birthday celebration extravaganzas for my friends.
Also took a day trip on the Great Central Railway in Loughborough for Valentine’s Day, which was absolutely perfect. We both have a fondness for trains so it was a great excursion.
Then visited Sheffield, where we saw some street art at Edward Street Flats. It was quite a lovely area.
Last, we took a quick trip over to Whitby Abbey in York. The area was so quaint and idyllic. My only regret was going so late we didn’t have enough time to explore or enter the abbey. I did get a fun night shot, which may be a bit out of focus, because I had to climb a fence and perch precariously while trying to take photos.
Constructive feedback always appreciated.
