Microgreens – Indogrow Farms

Recently, Pat and Lou from Indogrow Farms enlisted my photography and branding help creating a fun, autumn marketing campaign for their vertical farming, microgreens business in South Jersey.

We had a lot of fun styling and getting creative with an autumnal, Halloween vibe. Pat made the gorgeous, modern art tableaus, while Lou and I were tossing pumpkins, skulls, and witches into every almost photo.

If you’re not yet familiar with microgreens, please check out some of the information below. The guys have converted me into a microgreen advocate and I use them in almost every meal. They also have a TON of tasty recipes on their site (I’ve listed one of my favorites below).

Indogrow Farms is an indoor vertical farm that operates in South Jersey and specializes in growing microgreens and other specialty products for restaurants, specialty food stores and direct-to-consumer.

Microgreens Recipes

Grilled Peaches

Serves 3-4

Total Time: 10-13 minutes

1/2 bag Indogrow farms earthy mix, chopped if preferred
3-4 peaches, halved and pits removed
2-4 oz. blue/goat/or Brie cheese
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Pinch salt
Pinch cinnamon
Pinch nutmeg (optional)

Preheat grill to medium-high for 5 minutes. Cut peaches in half and remove pits. Brush with olive oil and toss with a pinch of salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Places peaches on grill pit side down. Grill 2 minutes, flip and grill an additional minute. Place cheese in center where pit was and cook an additional 1-2 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. Remove from grill and let cool a couple minutes. Top with microgreens and enjoy.
