Today we bring you Amaris, a stay-at-home mama who finds joy in cooking and party planning for her loved ones. Amaris booked a boudoir session with House of Rowan to celebrate her 30th birthday and to enjoy some much-needed time to herself!
Amaris met us in the South Jersey photography studio on the morning of her session and hopped right into two hours of pampering with one of our wonderful hair and makeup artists, Jeannine. Amaris didn’t have a specific vibe in mind for her session, but said she absolutely loved her look. “Jeannine was amazing!!! Loved the products she recommended and provided the reason why. Loved the great conversation we had! Loved how my hair came out!”
After her look was complete, it was time for Amaris to slip into her first outfit of the day. She brought a bodysuit and one set for her boudoir session: a sexy black lace one piece (Amazon) and an equally spicy three-piece set (Fenty Beauty).
While Amaris said she was nervous about how she’d feel once she was in front of the camera, she told us all that doubt melted away once she looked in the mirror. “I was nervous about certain poses but once hair and makeup were done, I felt fine.”
As for her overall boudoir experience, Amaris said it was priceless just to have some time to herself.
“From being pampered to being photographed, it truly was a moment that was all about me. Being a stay-at-home mom, I just wanted and needed the time to myself. House of Rowan pulled it off to the point I want to do another one!”
Boudoir is the perfect escape from everyday life, and we enjoy making our clients feel amazing when they’re with us! It’s a day to relax and let us do the work!
As for her favorite part of her session, Amaris said it was the sneak-peeks at her photos. “Looking at the photos after doing some poses!” We love hyping up our clients with glimpses of their gorgeous shots.
