Today we bring you Catherine, an avid roller-skater who loves music and walking along the beach at night. Catherine booked her boudoir session as part of her journey to self-love and wanted to celebrate her body with mementos she could hold onto for a lifetime.
Catherine met us in our South Jersey photography studio on the morning of her boudoir session and headed right into hair and makeup with Jeanine. Catherine wanted to feel classy, sexy, and confident, and she feels we met the vibe perfectly. “Jeanine was fantastic! Very friendly and personable. She created the exact look I was going for.”
After hair and makeup, it was time to slip into the first of three outfits Catherine brought for her session: a black corset with matching panties, garters, and thigh highs, all from Victoria’s secret. Catherine also brought along a red teddy (Victoria’s Secret) and a burgundy-and-black matching top and panties.
Getting half naked in front of a camera is enough to make anyone feel vulnerable, and Catherine admits she was nervous, but she says Adrian’s personality relaxed her immediately.
“Adrian’s down to earth personality made me feel at home almost instantly. I completely forgot I was in lingerie! Also, getting to see sneak peeks in between shots made me feel as if I were a professional model!
We love hyping up clients with peeks at the camera in between shots!
When asked to describe her overall boudoir experience, Catherine says her session went above and beyond her expectations. “I expected to go and have my pictures taken and be on my way. Adrian is so thorough and guides you through every part starting with your in-person consultation [and ending with] picking up your images. Her guidance made me super excited for the shoot. At the studio, Adrian made me laugh and feel so comfortable. I walked out of that studio feeling brave, confident, sexy, and empowered! And those feelings seem to be lingering around!”
