Today we celebrate Lady T., an outgoing beauty who loves photography, travel, and meeting new people.
When Lady T. walked into our South Jersey Photography studio the day of her boudoir session, she says she felt taken care of right from the door. “From the moment I arrived I felt pampered. While I was a bit nervous, I was quickly put at ease.”
First was hair and makeup with Kayla, and Lady T. felt confident that Kayla pulled off the sexy, edgy vibe she wanted for her entire session. “I felt so beautiful. It was perfect for my shoot. She did my makeup and hair as requested, was super friendly and helpful. I would go to her every day if I could. She was amazing!!”
Lady T. brought two gorgeous outfits to slip into: a sheer black bodysuit paired with fishnet stockings (both purchased from the House of Rowan boutique) and a suede green bodysuit (Amazon). Once she was behind the camera, she admits the nerves began to kick in about how her images would turn out, but a few quick peeks put Lady T. at ease.
“My biggest fear was that I would try and look sexy and my facial expressions would be weird!! I was quickly put at ease after some direction from Adrian and a quick back of the camera sneak peek. After seeing a few shots, and how amazing I looked, I was totally relaxed and confident in the shots Adrian was taking.”
As for boudoir session aesthetics, Lady T. felt we touched on every mood she was hoping for. “I also wanted to incorporate some of my husband’s favorite things: Batman and Whiskey. I hoped Adrian wouldn’t find my request odd! She did not, of course, and was able to pull off exactly what I had envisioned.” There’s nothing we love more than a unique theme! It makes your session authentically you.
While Lady T. says she booked her boudoir session as a gift to her husband, it soon became a gift to herself as well. “I had my doubts, going in, that I could pull it off. Adrian put all of that to rest and then some. She made me feel relaxed, confident and sexy.”
Once we started, and I saw some of my pics, it became for me as well. I left feeling sexy, confident and beautiful. Every woman should do this at least once. To see yourself outside of your norm and in such a beautiful and sexy way is one of the most uplifting things you will ever do for yourself.
We couldn’t have said it better. While sometimes a (very lucky) partner benefits from your boudoir session, it’s ultimately all about you, and celebrating your beautiful body!
