Today we bring you Miss C, a lover of dancing, reading, good wine, good food, and spending time with friends. She booked her boudoir session with us as a gift, for herself and for her partner. Miss C asked that we shield her identity, and we will respectively do just that!
Miss C met us in the South Jersey photography studio on the morning of her boudoir session ready for a few hours of pampering. She sat with Jeanette for hair and makeup, and says she absolutely loved her look! We set up a private Pinterest page for each of our clients in the weeks leading up to their session, where they can pin ideas and inspiration for Adrian and our hair and makeup artist to view; this way they can walk into the studio confident that our artist already knows the vibe they’re going for. In Miss C’s case, she wanted her boudoir session to be classic and fun, and she feels we pulled it off.
After hair and makeup, it was time for Miss C to slip into her first outfit. She brought a few pieces along for her boudoir session, all purchased from Fashion Nova. While Miss C admits she was a little nervous in the days leading up to her session – completely normal – she credits Adrian for helping her relax in front of the camera. “Adrian talking me through everything was helpful!”
As for her favorite part of her session, Miss C says it was getting to sneak a peek at her photos in between poses. We love hyping our clients up with a little preview of how amazing they look!
Miss C had three words to describe her boudoir session: “Comfortable, fun, exciting.” Her description perfectly encompasses what Adrian Rowan Photography is all about. We ask our clients if they have any physical limitations and demonstrate every pose beforehand to make sure they are comfortable. The music is pumping, and Adrian is there as photographer and hype-woman, making sure they’re having fun!
If you’re considering a boudoir session yourself, Miss C says there’s no need to hesitate. “Go for it. Just do it.” There’s no better time than the present to celebrate your body.
