Today we bring you Miss K, one of our gorgeous clients who wished to keep her identity under wraps but was still willing to share her boudoir experience with us! Miss K loves yoga, baking, reading, hiking, and rock climbing! As for her motivation behind booking her first ever boudoir session, it was all about celebrating her body with a bonus of sharing her photos with her fiancé. “I’ll gift these photos to my fiancé for sure, but mostly it was a gift to show myself how powerful I can be.” We love a powerful, self-assured queen!
Miss K met us in the South Jersey photography studio on the morning of her session and first hopped into hair and makeup with Jeanine “Adrian provided hair and makeup – it was incredible! I felt stunning, and more importantly, I felt listened to when I described how I wanted my general makeup to look.” We make sure our clients get full control over their boudoir session vibe.
After an hour of pampering in hair and makeup it was time for Miss K to step into her first outfit of the day: a white lingerie set from Cotton House. She also brought along a black set from Savage Fenty. As for the theme of her boudoir session, Miss K feels we pulled off what she was looking for. “HECK YEA WE PULLED IT OFF. Earthy. Goddess. Warm. Sensual. Powerful.” We love all those vibes!!
While Miss K admitted she was nervous leading up to her session, she said talking with Adrian during her shoot made all of her fears subside. “I was nervous, but the hour of hair and makeup and just generally chatting with Adrian made me feel so at ease! By the time I was being photographed, there was zero fear.”
As for her overall boudoir experience, Miss K described it as dreamlike. “Unreal. Absolutely dreamlike. It was like I walked into a safe little bubble. I can’t believe how empowered I felt during and after, like, is that really me? Am I really this comfortable and confident?”
For anyone considering their own boudoir session, Miss K says so for it, even if you’re unsure. “Just do it. Do it scared. Do it for you.”
