Today we’re featuring Jenna, an adventurer who loves reading, listening to podcasts, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Jenna, in true QUEEN fashion, booked herself a boudoir session as a gift for finishing her master’s degree!
Jenna met us in the South Jersey photography studio on the morning of her session and slid right into hair and makeup with Jeanine. After two hours of pampering, Jenna felt beautiful and ready to rock her session. “Jeanine was lovely and took the time to answer my makeup questions along with making me look fabulous!”
Jenna’s vibe for her session was natural, confident goddess and she brought along two looks that fit the bill: a black lace bustier top and matching bottoms (Rainbow) and a green bodysuit (Shein). Between her two gorgeous looks and some help from our studio’s aesthetic, Jenna felt the vibe she was hoping for came through. “It was absolutely pulled off with the plants and the luxe details: [the] murder robe, feather fixture, and velvet couch.”
When asked if she was nervous leading up to her boudoir session, Jenna admitted she was feeling a little self-conscious after facing two difficult losses in her life. “I was nervous because I had put on significant weight over the last couple years between mourning the deaths of my mother and aunt and the stresses of new homeownership, Covid, and graduate school.” Our clients come to us for a variety of reasons and it was truly an honor to help pick up Jenna and show her how gorgeous she is, especially after experiencing the heartbreaking loss of two loved ones.
As for her overall boudoir experience, Jenna said the check-ins leading up to her session made her feel special and excited leading up to the big day.
“From the time I booked, I felt special and glamorous. The personalized styling tips and initial meeting truly made me feel like I wasn’t just another client on the books. I’d been following [House of Rowan] on socials for a few years and just love the aesthetic [Adrian] offers along with the body positivity portrayed in her posts.”
For anyone considering booking a session of their own, Jenna says just throw yourself into the idea and the confidence will come.
“JUST DO IT! Seriously, just let yourself get into the process and you’ll be instantly confident.”
