Today we bring you Gabrielle, globetrotter, animal lover, and dog mama, who fosters and fundraises for her own rescue, Puppies and More. This was Gabrielle’s first boudoir session in our South Jersey photography studio, and she says the experience was 100% a gift for herself. “Everyone else can reap the benefits.” YES!
Gabrielle arrived the morning of her session and first sat for hair and makeup with Jeanine. When asked if she was pleased with her look, Gabrielle had no doubts. “I asked for my curls to look a little messy and for smokey eyes and [Jeanine] absolutely CRUSHED it.”
Gabrielle brought two gorgeous outfits for her boudoir session: a teal Honey Birdette set, and a sequin bralette and panty set from Victoria’s Secret. The vibe for her session was “free and sexy” and Gabrielle says she felt just that! “In my sequin set I felt so free – especially with the new effect Adrian was using. I looked like a disco ball. In my teal Honey Birdette set, I felt so incredibly sexy. The poses she had me do in this set just complimented everything about me: my body, my attitude, my greatest asset.”
When asked if she was nervous about anything prior to her shoot, Gabrielle said she was only excited, and felt taken care of in the weeks leading up to her session. “We discussed nerves and exactly how the shoot would flow weeks prior to my actual shoot, and [Adrian] encouraged me to reach out to her with ANY questions or concerns I had, whether it was in regard to outfit choices, hair and makeup, nerves.”
As for Gabrielle’s favorite part of her boudoir session she said she loved every moment, but her photo reveal stands out: ”Before [Adrian] started showing me my pictures, she said to me ‘Look, I understand we all have something about ourselves that we don’t like, but in this room and during this appointment, we will not be saying those things out loud.’ From that moment on, my entire perception changed. I looked through my pictures knowing I could only say positive things about myself, so that is what my mind immediately focused on. Adrian was the ultimate hype woman, too. I felt so incredibly sexy and confident and just wanted to share with the world how amazing I felt and looked.”
