Today we bring you Julia, another House of Rowan VIP who recently joined us in our South Jersey photography studio for her second boudoir session with Adrian! Julia loves baking, dancing, dining out with friends, and soaking up some sun at the beach. Julia’s session was a gift of self-love, and we are here for it. Boudoir doesn’t have to be for a partner; our number one priority is making you feel good!
Julia arrived bright and early the morning of her session and hopped right into hair and makeup with Janine. The vibe for her boudoir session was Old Hollywood glam, and Julia says we nailed it. “Janine was my makeup artist, and she was great! She really listened to what I wanted my look to be, and she was very talented in her application of my makeup.” Our hair and makeup artists tend to every client with care and are sure to nail down a client’s intended vibe for their session before glamming them up!
After Julia’s pampering was finished it was time to slip into her first look: a purple nightgown with matching purple panties, both from Amazon. Julia also brought a black lace two-piece bralette and high-waisted panties; and since the theme was Old Hollywood, we whipped out the studio’s red murder robe to capture all the I-murdered-my-husband vibes. We have several murder robes in our arsenal in a variety of shades, so there’s one to match every color palette!
When asked if she was nervous about anything prior to her boudoir session, Julia admits it was hard to step out of her box at first. “[I was] nervous because I stepped out of my comfort zone with my one outfit! But this was my second session with Adrian and as soon as we started, my nerves went away, and I allowed myself to be immersed in the overall experience.”
Once Julia was in front of the camera, she relaxed and leaned into her session with all the confidence of a goddess! And her favorite part? The murder robe.
“My experience was exceptional! Everything went so well, and it was a huge boost to my confidence and my mood!”
If you’re considering a boudoir session of your own, Julia says you should celebrate your body. “You will love seeing how you look through someone else’s eyes. You are art and should see yourself as such!” We couldn’t agree more!
