Today we bring you Mikel, a wine loving, book reading, cello player with warm eyes and a great smile.
Mikel met us in the South Jersey boudoir photography studio on the morning of her boudoir session. While she’d booked her session solely as a present for herself, she admits she was a bundle of nerves. “I was nervous about EVERYTHING. What to wear, how I looked, body. But from the minute I started to get my hair and makeup done and I felt the vibe of Kayla and Adrian, I started to relax.” Our hair and makeup artist, Kayla, gave Mikel a sexy, glowing makeup look and light curls for her session. “[Kayla was] top notch – amazing work, professional.”
Mikel brought three pieces for her session: a black lace bodycon dress (Amazon), Felicity Hayward “self-love” set (Playful Promises), and an Eagles jersey paired with knee socks (her own). Mikel was hoping for “sexy sporty” and“glam princess” and feels we totally nailed it. We love that Mikel played with vibes from both ends of the spectrum and she rocked the hell out of both looks.
Once the posing began and the camera started clicking, Mikel relaxed into her element.
“Once we started taking pics Adrian was so fun and relaxed and knew exactly what to say to make me laugh, smile and feel at ease.”
