Today we bring you Lady S., a wine-loving thespian who also enjoys sleep– lots of sleep. While there was nothing tired about her fiery boudoir session, Lady S. asked that we keep her images under wraps (and we always respect our clients’ wishes). But we can still share her experience with you!
Lady S. met us in the South Jersey boudoir photography studio the morning of her session, a gift she says was as much for herself as it was a wedding gift for her husband.
First, she headed into hair and makeup with Kayla. “[I] love the look she [Kayla] created!!” Next, it was time to get dressed. Lady S. was going for “sultry and comfy” vibes for her boudoir session and brought a few gorgeous outfits to choose from, one each in black, green, and white (all the sultry) – with a sweater for the comfy feels (comfy can be sexy too!!).
While Lady S. said she felt a bit nervous before her big day, her experiences in theater helped her relax.
“I’m used to getting undressed in front of other people from when I used to do a lot of musicals. While it is a different vibe than running around backstage changing, [Adrian] definitely made it super comfortable! Personally, getting changed into my favorite outfit made me less nervous.”
When asked about her favorite part of her session, Lady S. found it hard to choose.
“Hard to pick! Love the fireplace so much! But also, the [image] reveal. [The] studio set up was so nice! So many different vibes in one room.”
If you’re considering a boudoir session, Lady S. says come well-prepared. “Bring extra outfits, you can always narrow it down!”
