Today we bring you Miss K, animal lover and avid collector of fine art, vintage records, and crystals. While Miss K has requested we keep her gorgeous boudoir photos under wraps (and we always respect our clients’ privacy), she was still kind enough to give others some insight into her session in our South Jersey photography studio.
Miss K arrived on the morning of her boudoir session and jumped right into hair and makeup with Jeanine. While she says she was initially worried about how her look would turn out, she enjoyed working with Jeanine and felt it all pulled together perfectly. “I was worried about having too much makeup, but the pictures reveal it was just right!”
Miss K was going for innocent and sexy with a splash of 80s nostalgia for her session, and she brought the perfect pieces to compliment the vibe: a fishnet body stocking from Amazon, a Playful Promises silk robe paired with a black and green lace lingerie set, sparkly boots and a boombox purse both from Betsey Johnson, and silk green shoes by SJP. “I definitely feel we pulled off the sexy vibe with my body stocking and innocent/sexy vibe with the claw bathtub and book shot. The 80s vibe was fun with my off the shoulder sweater boots and purse boom box.”
Our favorite part is that Miss K booked her boudoir session as a gift for herself! When asked about her overall boudoir experience, Miss K said she felt right at home in our studio.
“My experience with Adrian Rowan went above and beyond my expectations. When I met with Adrian the first time, I got this total sense of comfort and non- judgement, almost like I’ve known her for years! This immediately boosted my self- confidence to truly feel open and at ease during my session. When I walked into her studio, I was in awe. It’s just so perfectly set up in her beautiful Queen Ann style home. Adrian had me laughing and feeling secure with my body instantly and I think the pictures reveal that!”
Nothing means more to us than making our clients feel comfortable and empowered.
For anyone considering their own boudoir session, Miss K says it’s important not to take yourself too seriously. “Do not be nervous, have fun with it! Bring out your inner goddess and go with it!”
