Today we’re featuring Ashley: gamer, bookworm, and badass firefighter who recently joined us in the South Jersey photography studio for her third boudoir session with House of Rowan! We know Ashley well by now, and it’s always an absolute joy to have her in the studio.
For her third session, Ashley went with a look she’d never tried before: 20’s glam. Every session kicks off with two full hours of pampering. Ashley sat with Kat for hair and makeup, and says her look turned out exactly how she’d dreamed. “[Kat] was so helpful and gave the best advice and went the extra mile to make sure my hair had the 20’s wave and curl to it, and it all turned our phenomenal.”
Ashley brought two bra and panty sets from Torrid for her boudoir session. The theme? Celestial Glam. “I was going for a roaring 20’s Victorian mash up with my celestial set. So, I would say Celestial Glam – I think it turned out fantastic and I rocked it!” Ashley’s sexy look was a perfect fit for our new Victorian-inspired set in the studio!
Although Ashley is a boudoir connoisseur by now, she admits she still had some nerves going into her session. “I was a bit nervous about the new set and poses but as always Adrian goes above and beyond to walk you through the poses and process and just places you at ease so well.” Whether it’s a client’s first boudoir session or their fiftieth, they can guarantee the same level of pampering, hyping, and pose advise with every visit to our studio.
When asked what motivates her to do multiple boudoir sessions, Ashley said each set “has held a special time and place in my life that I am able to see [in my boudoir photos] every day.” Boudoir should never be limited to a single session! Your body deserves to be celebrated and documented in every season of life.
If you’re thinking of booking your own session, Ashley says there’s no reason to hesitate. “Do it! It is an investment in yourself and is the best decision you will make.”
