At the beginning of September I attended the Do More Photographers boudoir photographers’ event in New York City at Evgenia Ribinik Studios.
There was an awesome rooftop shootout sponsored by the Boudoir Album with some great models and photographers all over the place. It was a literal cornucopia of visual stimulation and inspiration.
I took one class with Teri Hofford, who as many of you know inspired me at Camp Do More in Haliburton, Canada. Missed that blog? You can read it here!
It’s always a great time working and learning from Teri, she is a buoyant personality and force to be reckoned with. She definitely pushes me to try more and explore my business on different levels.
Her class was fun and informative and the models were superb! I got to work with Julianne again and worked with Hannah for the first time. We got some great images and I’m now obsessed with rooftop boudoir sessions!
I also got to take a Big Bus Tour with the ethereal Pix. One of my (not so) secret, guilty pleasures is tourist bus tours. I have done a bus tour in Washington DC, London England, Lincoln England, and even my home area: Philadelphia, PA! Thanks, Pix, for indulging me and going on the tour 🙂
We spent the day exploring downtown Manhattan and had lunch at a tiny, Italian place that was literal cheese heaven! Pix even had a chance at fame when a restaurant asked to record a quick video of them pronouncing their name.
It was a great trip to New York, which I definitely don’t visit enough.
